What You’ll Need

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large apples, peeled & diced (I used Granny Smith Apples)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce

What You’ll Need To Do

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F and spray an 8x8x2 in a glass dish with cook spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, corn starch, and nutmeg until well combined. Set aside.

3. Cut the cinnamon rolls into 1/4 inch slices and then roll them out on a well-floured surface. (This part is messy and extremely sticky.)
4. Place the first layer of rolled out cinnamon rolls into the bottom of the dish. Make sure to press with your hands to seal any edges that may have came apart.

5. Spread half of the apple mixture and drizzle on 2-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce on top. Cover with the next layer of rolled out cinnamon rolls.

6. Add the remaining apple mixture and drizzle another 2-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce. Finally, cover it with the last rolled out cinnamon rolls.

7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Cool for at least 15-30 minutes before serving. Drizzle with the cinnamon roll icing (it came with the cinnamon rolls, hope you didn’t throw it away). Slice and serve with ice cream.

This sweet combo is absolutely delicious & was a huge hit. The family tore it up, it was literally gone in 2 days! Not to mention it made my home smell fabulous and screamed Autumn to me.

What’s your go-to fall dessert?

Until Next Time,

Kimberly
